For relaxation and a gentle physical workout, Tai Chi is recommended.
For a more active and fun experience, Lu Kung Fu is recommended.
These workshops are best practiced in a group of 20 or less people. This gives the instructor enough time to offer some individual attention and it helps with the harmony of the group.
The ideal length of a Chi Kung workshop is 45 minutes. The shortest workshop possible is 30 minutes, and the longest is 1 hour and 15 minutes.
The ideal length of a Tai Chi workshop is 1 hour. The shortest workshop possible is 45 minutes, and the longest is 1 hour and 15 minutes.
The ideal length of a Lu Kung Fu workshop is 1 hour and 30 minutes. The shortest workshop possible is 1 hour, and the longest is 2 hours.
For Chi Kung and Tai Chi, outdoors at a park or forest, or even on the beach when it is relatively quiet, can be a big plus. However, that will always depend on the weather. Rain, strong wind, or even excessive heat are not favorable. Being in nature is part of the Dao, but there is always the risk of distractions or noise to keep in mind. For Lu Kung Fu, it is recommended to do it indoors only.
For indoors, it is helpful to have a comfortable temperature and enough space. A good rule of thumb is one and a half square meter (1.5m2) per person.
Any clothing that is comfortable to move in is fine. You should be able to stretch downwards from a standing position, do a half-squat, and lift your arms out wide and above you head. If all this is possible without restriction from your clothes, then you are set.
For Chi Kung and Tai Chi, it is highly recommended to not wear shoes, and if you really have to, then they need to be completely flat. For Lu Kung Fu, shoes are fine as long as they are flat. It is dangerous for your body to train in non-flat shoes. You can always have socks on, you do not need to be barefoot.
The instructor will have his own wireless music and sound system. Nothing needs to be arranged for that.
For an accurate estimate of the price, it will be necessary to provide some further information in the contact form: the size of the group, the length of the workshop, and the location. Below are some examples.
If you are looking for a unique meditative experience, while still having a healthy and safe workout, do not hesitate to request a workshop.
